2013 Eastern Regional Championships

The 2013 Eastern Regional Championships were hosted by NE Masters of Eastern Division at Okemo, VT on Feb. 8-10, 2013. The regional championships are a 4-race SG/SG/GS/SL event.

The series will kick-off with a pair of SGs on Fri Feb. 8 on the Chief Racing Trail, which will be included in the national, season-long, Molecule F Speed Series standings. Saturday's SL on War Dance will feature separate courses for the A/B and C/D groups, with the weekend racing winding up on Sunday with a GS back on Chief. The Chief, site of the SGs and GS, has been a longtime favorite of the masters due to its length, rolling terrain, and "masters friendly sets."

Okemo has been the host of the Eastern Championships on multiple occasions, and always attracts the best racers from around the East and Canada. The traditional awards parties will follow the races on Friday and Saturday, and the events will count in the overall Sise Cup standings.

Entries and Qualification

You must have a current USSA Masters competition license to compete in regional and national championship events (no temporary weekend licenses). Event details will be published on nemasters.org; online registration will be available on SkiRaceReg.com.

Additional Scoring Reports (Just for Fun!)

Additional "just for fun" scoring reports will be posted within the next few days, with additional scoring rankings allowing competitors to compare their performances by both time and race points across different groups of competitors, in addition to the official rankings by time for their age class.

The Additional Reports section includes alternative rankings and groupings of the results that give competitors additional ways to compare themselves with other racers outside their immediate age class. Rankings organized by national group or gender or in the overall rankings of all competitors who were on the same course allows racers to see how they compare against different sets of competitors.
